Caribbean Stud Poker Live Rules
Caribbean Stud Poker is a very simple game to grasp. 2 sets of 5 cards are dealt each hand, player and dealer. There is no limit on how many players can play at the same time at a table. To play a hand a call bet is needed, the call bet is the same amount as your ante. If you fold your hand you lose your ante bet.
However, if you have a side bet and or jackpot bet for the round they are still live even if you fold your “main” hand. For the dealer to qualify for the round the dealer must get a minimum Ace-King. If the hand is a tie both ante and call is a push. If the dealer does not qualify the ante bet pays 1:1 and the call bet is pushed.
The 5+1 Side Bet
The side bet is optional to play. You can place a side bet when you place your ante. For the 5+1 side bet the face-up card dealt to the dealer is used as well as the player’s 5 cards to get the +1 card. The bet is won if the hand value is three of a kind or higher. This bet stays live through the round even if you fold.
The Progressive Jackpot Bet
You will only see this side bet if the online casino you are playing at has opted in to have it enabled. It is an optional side bet. If the Max Jackpot is paid out all players that have a bet on it will share it. The smaller Jackpot prizes are paid out per player.
