How to Play Live Dream Catcher
If you are tired of card games and slot games, Dream Catcher, also known as Money Wheel, can be the answer to your needs and requirements.
Dream Catcher is loosely based on a retro-styled game-show-themed studio with a 24/7 live host. There’s nothing specific to learn about this game other than that it has a giant wheel that decides your fate. Once you start the game, you are greeted by your smiling host and the rest is up to your luck.
The game has a giant wheel that has a total of 54 segments. 52 segments are numbers from 1 to 40 and the rest are 2x and 7x multipliers.
The players place the chips on the desired numbers. The time given to take your decisions is short (usually 15 seconds). After 15 seconds, the dealer spins the wheel. If it lands on the multiplier, the wheel is spun again and the multiplier is used on the next round’s wins. This whole thing lasts for only 45 seconds.
Although Dream Catcher is a game that is decided by luck, learning the structure of the wheel to place bets can prove to be beneficial.
The wheel has 23 segments with number 1, 15 segments with 2, and 5 segments with 7. 10, 20, and 40 appear 4, 2, and 1 times respectively (all numbers are colour coded). You can start betting on the lower numbers and once you gather a sizable win, go for the higher numbers. Your payout will be based on the table.
Multiplier or Bust
This strategy involves the leveraging of the multipliers. You can put wagers exclusively on purple, green, orange, and red to try and maximize your chances. This tactic gives you a total wheel coverage of almost 26%. If you land on a multiplier segment, you can potentially win on one of the big numbers.
The only problem here is that there are 74% other potential winning spaces. While the payouts can be big, other strategies offer faster results.
This strategy is basically the opposite of the previous one. Here you bet on the yellow and blue segments, which nets you a total of 38 potential winning spaces (over 70% of wheel coverage). You should also be seeing more results from multiplier segment wins with this proven technique.
However, you need to understand that the pay will be low because your bankroll will only increase incrementally (1x and 2x).
Go All Out
This strategy is better suited for high-risk players, who don’t mind waiting for the big jackpot. This system just involves betting on the red and orange segments, which are the highest paying segments on the wheel. Needless to say, this gives you the worst possible wheel coverage of anything shown here.
Different Versions of Live Dream Catcher
Many versions of Dream Catcher can be played at online casinos. Some of them have innovative features to make your gaming experience more entertaining. Unlike other live casino games where the approach is more formal, Dream Catcher features a game host that generates more of a party atmosphere. Below, we mention some of the unique versions you can find at live casinos.
As the name suggests, Live Monopoly adds a spicy twist with the Monopoly Board bonus round. The Live Dream Catcher game is very much unchanged. The only difference is that if you have bet successfully on “2 rolls” or “4 rolls” (of the dice), you will get the chance to participate in the Bonus Monopoly round.
The dice is rolled by the game presenter, according to which the number of squares is covered on the Monopoly board and the prize in the soiree added to the player’s bonus win amount. This procedure is repeated until all the rolls are used up (2 or 4). Upon conclusion, the bonuses are paid to the players.
First Person Dream Catcher
First Person Dream Catcher is the same money wheel offering with a Random Number Generator (RNG) based game, but with a unique option to “Go Live” to unlock an enhanced gaming experience. This enhancer will basically give you the opportunity to get a bigger prize if you catch the multipliers.
This basically means that if the wheel stops on a multiplier in two or more spins in a row, the eventual winning number is multiplied multiple times.
Crazy Time is the latest Dream Catcher game from Evolution Gaming. Instead of your regular bets and multipliers, you have 4 different bonus games which have a 1 in 6 chance of landing each spin. If you land the Crazy Time bonus round you will get a chance to spin the special mega wheel with prizes in excess of 1,000x.
Other Money Wheel Games
Recently, well-known live casino games providers, Playtech and Pragmatic Play Live have launched their own versions of Dream Catcher. Because of Crazy Time’s major popularity among players, these 2 providers have added their own versions with bonus games and multipliers.
Playtech launched Adventures Beyond Wonderland which features an Alice in Wonderland theme. Here players can bet on numbers as well as different bonus game options. Similar to Crazy Time, each betting option can be boosted by multipliers and each bonus game is unique.
Pragmatic Play Live launched their own version of Dream Catcher but added win multipliers too. Mega Wheel offers 9 different betting options with boosted payouts as high as 500x on your bet. Additionally, they recently launched Sweet Bonanza Candyland, which is a combination of Mega Wheel and their famous Sweet Bonanza slot game. Payouts aren’t as generous as Crazy Time, but the game is still very entertaining.
