What is Lightning Roulette?
As discussed in previous articles, Lightning Roulette is our base game for all the comparisons. We chose to compare other games to it because Lightning Roulette started the trend of live roulette games with special bonus features.

Every game round a vault is opened to reveal a number of gold bars for the game round. If you land a winning number bet, then you collect all the gold bars in the vault. Each gold bar is worth an 88x multiplier.
What’s nice is that you can place your gold bars on any number you want. You can either stack them on a number or spread them out across the board. So, you have control of your destiny. Furthermore, you can accumulate your gold bars over time and they stay valid for 3 months. So, once you feel you have accumulated enough bars, you can then use them to possibly land a big win.
Lightning Roulette VS Gold Bar Roulette
At first glance, Lightning Roulette vs Gold Bar Roulette looks like another comparison of a clone vs the original game. However, when we look into the games fundamentals we can clearly see 3 key differences. Furthermore, such differences may even give an edge to Gold Bar Roulette over Lightning Roulette.
Firstly, in Lightning Roulette win multipliers are applied randomly. Sometimes only 2 numbers, but it can reach up to 5 randomly enhanced numbers. Whereas, in Gold Bar Roulette, you can load up as many gold bars as you like on many numbers.
Secondly, in Lightning Roulette you get paid out 29:1 for a standard number bet. However in Gold Bar roulette the payout is much lower at 19:1.
