How to Play Monopoly Roulette Live
After securing an exclusive deal with Hasbro for the licensing rights to the Monopoly trademark, we now have our first live Monopoly game planned for 2026. Monopoly Roulette is easy enough to understand if you already know basic roulette. The wheel, betting layout, and result processes are familiar. Evolution Gaming have added bonus symbols into the mix which add extra rules. But watching a few rounds will get you in the loop in no time.
You get a European roulette wheel, with numbers 1 – 36 and one zero slot. Place your bets anywhere on the roulette table, inside or outside and the croupier will spin the wheel.
The big difference between a bonus roulette game and standard roulette is what happens after you bet is placed. A slot machine activates bonus numbers for the game round. Bonus symbols are then attributed to the corresponding numbers on the grid. You get two types of bonus symbols: Monopoly and Community Chest symbols.
To enter one of the bonus games you need to win a Straight Up bet on a number that has the matching bonus symbol. So, you cannot just bet on Red or Black, Even or Odd, or other outside bets and then play the bonus round. Therefore, this game’s strategy is all about betting straight up on numbers. If you like betting on outside bets too, then we suggest sticking to regular roulette games where payouts are better.
In addition to the two straight up bonus bet options, you can also place bets on Bonus Chaser and Chest Chaser. These automatically cover the numbers that receive the relevant bonus symbols. Thus, it’s easier to chase the features, but note that the the RTP on these bets are lower than standard roulette bets. So, use them with care.
Monopoly Roulette Rules & Bonus rounds
Each round starts with a roulette betting phase. Here you get a short betting window of 10 seconds to place your bets. Once betting closes, the slot machine decides how many bonus symbols are added to the grid. Between 3-7 numbers can be enhanced each game round.
Similar to Big Baller and Monopoly Live you get dice rolls in a virtual board game when you land on a number with a Monopoly symbol. You can start with five to nine guaranteed dice rolls. Moreover, some numbers can also receive a win multiplier of 2x – 5x. Thus, a combination of the two can translate to an enhanced bonus round with bigger payouts.
Mr. Monopoly can also place up to five Community Chest symbols on the grid. These give access to the Community Chest Bonus if the ball lands on one of the enhanced numbers.
Monopoly Bonus Round
Once triggered you’re taken to the familiar virtual monopoly board game. Your number of dice rolls is determined by bonus symbol on the number the roulette wheel landed on. You can start with 5 – 9 dice rolls and if a double is rolled you get an extra roll, unless it’s to get Mr Monopoly out of jail.
Before the game starts, Mr Monopoly goes around the board building houses and hotels which add higher win multipliers to the property. Each dice roll moves Mr. Monopoly around the board collecting wins from the properties. Chance and Community Chest can give a cash prize. But they can also charge a fee. You also have the Income Tax that can reduce your bonus winnings by 10%, and Supertax can reduce them by 20%.
When Mr. Monopoly passes GO, all values on the board are doubled. This can make the bonus round much more valuable. The bonus ends when no dice rolls remain. Your total bonus winnings are paid together with your initial bet.
Community Chest Bonus Round
The Community Chest Bonus is a faster bonus game. It consists of you picking one of three cards. Each card hides a random multiplier between 20x – 300x. First the multiplier values are shown briefly. Then the cards are shuffled and hidden. Choose one card and reveal your win multiplier. If the number you landed on has win multiplier too, then card values will be multiplied for bigger payouts.
RTP and Payouts

The first thing to understand is that Monopoly Roulette Live is not a normal low-risk roulette game. You can play outside bets but then you are mostly skipping the bonus action and missing the main attraction of the game.
Straight Up bets is how you qualify for the bonus rounds. Therefore, our betting strategy focuses on numbers and chaser bets.
Low Risk Strategy: A mixture of Straight Up and Outside bets. Betting on numbers guarantees you a chance of landing a bonus, whereas outside bets can help hedge your more risky bets if they land. Therefore, we suggest placing small bets on numbers and bigger bets on outside bets, such as Red/Black or Odd/Even.
High Risk Strategy: To maximize your winnings the best strategy is to bet only on numbers. Betting on all numbers may guarantee a bonus if an enhanced number lands, but if not you’re only getting back 19:1 in stead of 35:1. So, we recommend betting on 12 random numbers each game round. 2/3’s of the time you’ll be losing but you win 2/3’s back when a correct number lands.
